FORMOSAN BLACK BEAR

The Formosan black bears are facing an ecological catastrophe, and endangered less than 500. To honor our black bear mother Huang Meixiu who has been studying deeply in the Central Mountains and the observation of the rescue of black bears for more than 20 years, she angrily pointed out that half of the black bears had their palms and toes severed. Even though they survived, they still suffered severe physical and mental injuries, leading to self-harm and anxiety for the rest of their life. Formosan black bears are good at climbing trees and extraordinary nesting ability. They have a white moon-shaped chest with round and large ears. They look very cute and lovable. I sincerely hope that we all will pay more attention and care to the national treasure black bears retrieving in nature.
